I’m Ron Amosa, a contract cloud (devops/sre) engineer who builds infrastructure for corporations moving into the cloud, containers and kubernetes domain.
I am a New Zealand born Pacific Islander- Samoan, Tuvalu and Chinese, and I like geeking out building things in my home lab, or in one of the three major cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS).
My main focus is architecting & building Kubernetes infrastructure-as-code for microservices, including cicd environments and pipelines, and production-grade setups doing my best to cover industry best standards and security.
Outside of being a big geek, I do kettlebell training for fitness, boxing/mma and brazilian jiu jitsu for self-defense and mental health, play drums and ride my motorbike for the fun of it.
